Joint Data Controllers 

The joint data controllers are:

• For Facebook and Instagram: Facebook Ireland Limited, Hanover Reach, 5-7 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland
• For YouTube: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland
• For LinkedIn: LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland

OMGM Group requires that joint controllers are based within the European Union and acknowledges that these platforms may independently determine how statistical data is processed. Any disputes shall fall under Italian jurisdiction.

If OMGM Group is contacted by users or by a supervisory authority regarding data processing carried out through its social media pages, it will notify the relevant joint controller within 7 calendar days.

Data Protection Officer 

OMGM Group is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer.
For the other joint controllers, contact details of their Data Protection Officers are available on their respective official websites.
 

Purpose of Data Processing

Personal data is processed to provide additional channels for communication, information, and interaction with users.

These channels are designed to enable direct engagement and participation, strengthening the relationship between users and the company in line with its business objectives.

Legal Basis

Data processing is carried out on the basis of:

• the performance of services requested by users (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
• the legitimate interest of the controller, including monitoring and managing content, as well as ensuring compliance with platform policies (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
  
  

   

Categories of Data

Personal data is provided directly by users and typically includes identification and contact details.
Any additional data voluntarily shared may be processed to respond to user requests. Where special categories of data are involved, processing is based on the conditions set out in Art. 9(2)(a) and (e) GDPR.

Data Recipients 

Collected data is not shared with third parties.

However, when using external communication systems or social media platforms, users also share their data with the platform providers, who act as joint controllers. Cookies used by OMGM Group function only as session identifiers and do not store personal data.

When using social media services, third-party cookies may be set (e.g. Facebook Insights, Google Analytics). These are typically used for content sharing and traffic analysis. Their use is governed by the privacy policies of the respective providers.

Data Transfers

Personal data is not transferred outside the scope of the GDPR.


Data Retention

Data is retained for at least one calendar year and is anonymized once no longer needed for operational or internal statistical purposes.

Data Subject Rights

Users may request access to their personal data, as well as rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, or object to processing at any time. They also have the right to data portability. Requests can be submitted through the company’s official contact channels.

Users may withdraw their consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal. If consent is withdrawn for data necessary to provide a service, the service may no longer be available.

Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Social Media Policy

This Social Media Policy outlines the rules governing interactions between OMGM Group and users across its social media channels.

Company social media accounts are managed by the Digital Team and authorized staff.

The company may also create dedicated pages or groups for specific projects, managed by designated personnel.

User comments and posts reflect individual opinions and do not represent the views of the company. OMGM Group is not responsible for third-party content published on its channels.

Moderation 

Social media channels are generally moderated during office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM).

Users are encouraged to engage respectfully and constructively.

Content that violates this policy may be removed at any time, including:

• offensive, abusive, or threatening language
• discriminatory content
• explicit or inappropriate material
• spam or promotional content
• illegal activities
• content that compromises public safety
• violations of intellectual property rights
• sharing of sensitive personal data

Off-topic comments, political messaging, repeated posts, or disruptive behavior may also be moderated.

OMGM Group reserves the right to block users or report violations to the relevant authorities where necessary.

Privacy on Social Media 

Personal data shared on social media platforms is subject to the policies of those platforms.

Sensitive data published in public posts or comments will be removed.

Data shared via private messages will be handled in accordance with applicable Italian and European data protection laws.

For direct inquiries, users are encouraged to contact the company via its official email address.

Twitter 

All content is manually created and published by authorized staff.

Posts relate to company activities or topics of interest. Following the account does not automatically result in a follow-back.

Feedback and interaction are welcome, although responses are not guaranteed
 

Facebook 

OMGM Group manages an official page and may operate additional project-related pages or groups.

User interactions (likes, mentions, reviews) are monitored to better understand the audience.

Private messaging is not available; users should contact the company via email.

Instagram 

The company manages an official profile and may operate additional project-related pages.

User engagement is analyzed to improve content and communication strategies.

Mentions may be reshared at the discretion of the Digital Team.

YouTube 

The YouTube channel is managed by authorized staff.

Videos may be produced internally or by third parties on behalf of the company.

Comments are disabled by default.
