Dimensional inspection confirms the quality and precision of every OMGM component. Using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and high-resolution 3D metrology equipment, each part is inspected to micrometre tolerances.
All measurement data are recorded and stored digitally, allowing full traceability and immediate access for each individual project.

Precision engineering involves machining metal components to dimensional tolerances below 0.1 mm, often in the micrometre range. OMGM manufactures parts with tolerances down to ±0.005 mm using CNC turning, milling, grinding, lapping and EDM.
OMGM machines structural and stainless steels (AISI 304/316L), quenched and tempered steels (42CrMo4), aluminium alloys (6082, 7075), cast iron, brass and bronze. Other materials are available on request for specialised applications.

OMGM manages both single prototypes and batch production of several hundred parts. Typical lead times are approximately four weeks for small batches (1–10 pieces) and six to ten weeks for larger series, depending on complexity and any required heat or surface treatments.
Each component is tracked through the MES and inspected using certified CMM dimensional inspection.
