Advanced CNC Technology for Highly Reliable, Complex Components
Precision CNC machining is at the core of OMGM Group’s operations. For over fifty years, we have manufactured complex mechanical components, prototypes and finished sub-assemblies from raw materials, supporting industries such as machine tools, packaging, pharmaceutical, food processing, marine and defence, oil & gas, and automotive.
Through a qualified supplier network, OMGM also manages all required surface and heat treatments, including hardening processes, in accordance with customer and industry requirements.
Precision CNC machining encompasses manufacturing processes that transform metals and special alloys into finished components through controlled material removal. At OMGM, we manage complete CNC machining, from single components and small batches to medium- and large-volume production, with inspection performed at every stage.
Each component is manufactured according to customer specifications, combining advanced CNC technology, technical expertise and integrated CAD/CAM systems to maximise efficiency and ensure consistent quality.
OMGM is equipped with more than 70 CNC machine tools, including lathes, vertical and horizontal machining centres, multitasking machines, grinding machines and EDM systems. Each technology is selected to deliver reliable performance in precision CNC machining.
Digital technologies and automation are integrated to allow real-time monitoring of production parameters through a MES (Manufacturing Execution System). This ensures process efficiency, full traceability and compliance with delivery schedules. Machining operations are further supported by advanced CAD/CAM systems that optimise tool paths and reduce scrap.
All components are inspected using 3D metrology equipment and latest-generation laser measurement systems within a temperature-controlled metrology room.
OMGM covers all stages required to transform raw materials into high-precision finished components, from material cutting to final packaging. Every operation is performed using state-of-the-art CNC machinery.
Each OMGM project is developed in direct collaboration with the customer. Services include co-engineering, custom design, mechanical assembly and the manufacture of functional prototypes, supporting customers from initial technical assessment through to serial production.
Our custom CNC machining integrates design expertise, CAD/CAM simulation and practical testing. OMGM works from customer-supplied technical drawings or supports full component development, including advice on materials, surface treatments and technical solutions. Orders are managed from single components through to medium-volume production, while maintaining quality standards, meeting deadlines and optimising efficiency and cost.
Choosing OMGM means working with a partner that combines experience, technology and precision. For more than fifty years, we have supplied integrated mechanical solutions, ensuring consistent quality, operational flexibility and reliable lead times.
By combining specialised expertise, modern CNC equipment and rigorous metrology-driven quality control, OMGM delivers reliable, durable and custom components.
Quality is controlled throughout every stage of the machining process. Inspections are carried out in a climate-controlled metrology room using CMMs, surface roughness testers and 3D metrology systems. Production parameters are monitored through the MES system, providing full traceability and consistent, repeatable results.
OMGM carries out CNC turning, 5-axis milling, grinding, lapping and electrical discharge machining (EDM). All operations are programmed using CAD/CAM software and performed on latest-generation CNC machine tools to achieve micrometre-level accuracy and high-quality surface finishes.
Materials machined include carbon steels, stainless steels, aluminium alloys, brass, bronze and hardened materials. Each material is processed using dedicated machining parameters to ensure durability, dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
Yes. OMGM provides machining services based on customer drawings or through co-engineering. Support includes technical consultancy, material selection and customised surface treatments.
